Walk-a-Thon & Auction Exceed Goal!
Good Shepherd

The GSLS Walk-a-Thon and Silent Auction Fundraiser successfully raised over $10,000 for various projects at Good Shepherd, including the Scholarship Fund.

The entire student body participated in our Walk-a-thon fundraiser on Friday, October 23, and despite the cold, damp weather, it was a HUGE success! Combined with the silent auction that ended Sunday evening:

WE MADE OUR $10,000 GOAL!

Preschoolers did an obstacle course both in the gym and outside to earn their money from pledges. Kindergarten-8th graders walked or ran laps in the parking lot for one hour. Pictures have been shared on our Facebook page. Money will now be turned in for the pledges that students collected. Payments for the auction items will be collected and items delivered soon.

We hope to have a grand total announcement by November 1.

To all who planned, donated, participated by walking and running, pledged, purchased, prayed and applauded, we thank you for your support for Good Shepherd Lutheran School!

The money raised will be disbursed to the Scholarship fund, the Capital Campaign for the repaving of the west parking lot, and to various classroom projects.

THANK YOU!
